Communication and Networking Systems (CN)

The Bachelor of Computer Technology in Computer Communication and Networking degree program focuses on teaching students how to design, implement, and manage communication networks effectively.

B.C.Tech. (CN) typically combines elements of computer science, electrical engineering, and information technology to prepare students for careers related to designing, implementing, and managing communication and networking systems.

B.C.Tech. (CN) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of communication technologies, network architecture, and data transmission protocols. This program covers a range of topics, including network design, security, wireless communication, IoT and telecommunications.

The aims of Computer Communication and Networking bachelor’s degree are:

  • to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of communication technologies and networking principles.
  • to provide students with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and manage modern communication systems and networks, including wired and wireless technologies.
  • to foster expertise in areas such as network protocols, security, data transmission, and system optimization.
  • to cultivate problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, enabling graduates to address the evolving needs of the rapidly advancing field of communication and networking.
  • to produce professionals who are proficient in ensuring the efficient and secure exchange of data and information in our interconnected world.
