Digital Fundamentals of Computer System

Course Description

This course is intended for anyone interested in knowing about computer system and related digital system. It explains how a computer functions, what various components are, and its capabilities and limitations and also digital logic and digital devices.

The aims of this course are for the students:

  •  To understand the fundamental organization of a computer system
  •  To know structure and function of computer components
  •  To know about the theory of digital electronics, the logic and the implementation of modules required for digital systems.

Intended Learning Outcomes

Upon the successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the core fundamentals.
  • Comprehend most of the applications that depend heavily on digital electronics.
  • Apply this knowledge in their future careers .
